HUMBLE WARRIOR – BADDHA VIRABHADRASANA
Why does it call humble? Notice the bowing aspect of this posture as you surrender yourself to the earth. That’s you being humble!
- Shoulder – You might not be able to reach your arms our straight but that’s completely fine! Stretch your shoulder one step at a time.
- Head – If your hip rotators allows you to bend all the way and reaching on the floor, congrats! You are in a deep-stretch state but be mindful of overdoing it as it will cause unnecessary pressure on the bend knees as you will tend to shift the weight to the front.
- Back Leg – Again and again… the back leg must be strong, feel the grounding of the outer edge of the feet whenever you are in a standing series
