FAQs About Temporary Closure
Thank you dear valued members for your patience during this challenging time. In line with Singapore’s Covid-19 circuit breaker measures announced by the government, we will be closing all 6 Platinum Yoga studios from 7 April 2020 to
4 May 2020 1 June 2020 further notice.
All members will automatically receive a complimentary suspension during the closure. Rest assured, we’ve got you covered and no action is required from your end.
Here are the questions which we have received during this time:
Q1: Do I need to do anything to qualify for the complimentary suspension?
Rest assured, we’ve got you covered! All members will have their membership suspended automatically during our closure. No action is required from your end.
Q2: I have a GIRO membership. Will there be any deductions?
Successful GIRO deduction on 1 April 2020 will be used for your June package and there will be no deduction on 1 May 2020 and 1 June 2020.
There will be NO GIRO deduction on 15 April 2020, 1 May 2020, 15 May 2020, and 1 June 2020. Payment will resume when the studio reopens.
Q3: I have a Prepaid membership. How am I affected?
You will receive a complimentary extension to your package during studio closure. No action is required from your end.
Q4: What will happen to the expiry date of my packages?
Validity of all packages, including Private Training and Class Cards will be extended automatically. Affected Platinum Yoga vouchers validity will also be extended.
Q5: What if the situation does not improve in May 2020?
Rest assured, we are monitoring the situation actively and will follow the government’s guidelines very closely. We hope and are positive that the situation will improve soon. We will keep you posted.
Q6: I just signed my package and am supposed to start this week.
Depending on your package type, we will make the necessary adjustments for you and suspend your membership during studio closure. No action is required from your end. If you have a GIRO package, please refer to Q2 and if you own a Prepaid membership, please refer to Q3.
Q7: I have already paid for membership suspension. Will there be any adjustments?
(A) Active members who did not request for suspension:
If you have a GIRO package, please refer to Q2 and if you own a Prepaid membership, please refer to Q3.
(B) Members currently on paid suspension where
– entire closure period falls within your suspension period: the amount will be credited in your Platinum Yoga account.
– only part of the closure period falls within your suspension period: suspension fee will be prorated and credited into your Platinum Yoga account according to the number of days overlapped.
(C) Members on unpaid suspension such as for medical reasons where
– the entire closure period falls within your suspension period: No adjustments will be made to your account.
– only part of the closure period falls within your suspension period: No adjustments for the number of days overlapped.
Q8: What if I have booked during the closure period?
A: All bookings within the closure period will be removed automatically. No action is required from your end.
Q9: I have paid for the upcoming workshop and 10-hour training.
A: All workshops and events which fall within the closure period will be postponed. Your payment will be credited to your Platinum Yoga account, which can be used for future workshops and trainings.
