Planned or planning a vacation with your friends and family? Here are some holiday tips to help you not only in terms of packing, but also how you can stay healthy even while you’re overseas!
1. Meditate On The Go
Unwind your body and calm the mind while you’re on the road.
Take 10 to 20 minutes to close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Meditation helps to reduce stress and promotes emotional health.
2. Set SMART Goals
Set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-Bound) goals and jot them down.
For instance, you can set one exercise and one dietary goals. Here is a tip to avoid overeating – have your meals outside instead of having buffet meals at your hotel.
3. Exercise
Holiday is not an excuse for you to stop exercising. Make use of your hotel facilities and/or visit the yoga community in your area!
Set aside 10 – 20 minutes a day to do some simple yoga routines. Click here for yoga practices which you can do while you’re overseas.
4. Pack Smart
Roll up your clothes or use packing organisers to help save space, and keep your liquid toiletries in a ziplock bag to avoid spills.
Don’t forget to check your baggage allowance! Use luggage tag to identify your luggage quickly.
5. Leave Your Work At Home
Enjoy! Take this opportunity to bond and create new memories with your friends and family.
