Interview with Teacher Arya

After Teacher Arya completed his education and 200 Hours Hatha YTTC in India, he began teaching in all parts of India to gain valuable experiences. Meanwhile, he participated in many competitions, including awards package in Mysore Yoga championships (Mysore, Yoga Championship) and winning the Championship in Himalayan Yoga championships (Himalaya Yoga Championship) runner-up twice. With much recognition, Teacher Arya was invited to spread his passion and knowledge in Singapore after obtaining his Singapore 200 Hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Certificate.

In this blog post, we embark on Teacher Arya’s journey to achieving his 12 years old dream of becoming the passionate yoga teacher he is today.

Q: Why did you decide to become a Yoga Teacher?

A: I decided to be a yoga teacher to help people with their mental and physical health problems. It gives me the satisfaction when I am able to help people.

Q: What is your teaching philosophy?

A: Teach only what you are confident at and keep learning to teach more.

Q: What are some difficulties you have encountered in teaching?

A: It is very hard to teach when people are not paying attention or being receptive to my teaching due to pride.

Q: Any advice for inspiring yoga teachers?

A: Be patient with your students and correct them gently.
