REVERSE WARRIOR  – VIPARITA VIRABHADRASANA

It’s a little backbend there or deep back bend for some, and not ignoring the fact that you are also opening up the chest, neck and the upper arms.

  1. Hips – It is an open hip position. Take note of the position of your hip in relative to your knee due to our limitation of the hip external rotators here.
  2. Upper arms – Should you bring it all the way back as close to your ears? If you could, it gives you a deeper back bend and if you can’t, just stay at an angle you’re comfortable with with straight arms
  3. Counter Pose – It is always good to counter pose it with humble warrior (similar to cat and cow poses here, the former being humble and the latter, reverse)
