Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics (YPLE)
  • The study of yoga philosophies and traditional texts;

  • Yoga lifestyle and precepts;

  • Ethics for yoga teachers (such as those involving teacher-student relationships);

  • Understanding the value of teaching yoga as a service and being of service to others through yoga (seva).

Practicum

Will I be a qualified teacher once I complete the Teacher Training program?
Yes!
Will there be any livestream classes?
Some lectures will be done online as per RYT guidelines. 
What is the schedule like?
It will be 60 hours theory, 15 hours project and 125 hours of yoga practice, teaching techniques and training.
Will I be able to teach right after I complete this program?
Yes! You will be prepped with all the skills and knowledge needed to become a yoga teacher! 
Will I be able to teach at Platinum Yoga after completing this program?

Will Platinum Yoga help with my Yoga Alliance application?
A link will be sent to students who have successfully completed our teacher training course. You will be able to apply for the Yoga Alliance certification there.
What if I missed a class?
Students enrolled in this programme must be fully committed and understand that full attendance is required. If there is a need to miss any sessions, it will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Please indicate any of such requests during application.
Will I receive a certificate after the program?

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will receive a Certificate of Completion (Yoga Alliance Accredited) from Platinum Yoga.

It also integrates various aspects of Yoga: Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Kriya (cleansing techniques) and the essence of Yogic literature and philosophy into a holistic composite, thus enabling the student to understand the concept of Yoga in its entirety.
