Your safety is our utmost concern. Here at Platinum Yoga, we follow the safety measures listed below as a precaution.

  • Before class:
     – Upon arrival at studio, all clients are required to check in using the SafeEntry QR code found at the front desk
    – Compulsory temperature taking after SafeEntry check-in.
    – Temperature 37.5°C and above will be denied entry
    – Client must record their name, contact number, temperature and signature in our Client Temperature File located at the front desk.
    – Clients attending yoga classes are advised to reach 30 min before the first class start so to ensure that they have sufficient time to complete the above.
    – Clients are encouraged to sanitise their hands before entering the studio
    – Clients must leave their mask on at all times, except when the class commences.
  • During classes:
    – Clients must leave their mask on at all times, except when the class commences.
    – Clients are supposed to wipe down their yoga mats with antibacterial yoga mat cleaner prior to using. The mat cleaner can be found in the studio.
    – Clients are encouraged to stay on their yoga mat throughout the class.
    – Clients are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat towels.
    – Clients are allowed to keep their phone beside their yoga mat for contact tracing purposes. However, video or photo taking is strictly not allowed.
  • After Class:
    – Clients must wear their masks immediately after the class has ended.
    – Clients are encouraged to leave the studio premises immediately after their class and are not allowed to loiter in our studio
    – Check-out using SafeEntry QR code
  • Our yoga instructors have been advised to educate members to clean their yoga mats before and after classes with our antibacterial spray and/or use their own mat and face towel.
  • Teachers have been advised to refrain from physical postural adjustment, but instead, be more involved in verbal correction and demonstration.
  • Members who are making travel plans or have travelled recently are required to fill up our online declaration form here. Alternatively, you may request the form from our friendly staff.
  • To promote social distancing, we have set up floor marking and placed the yoga mats at 2 metres apart. Effective 28 September 2020, low-intensity level classes will maintain 1.5metre distance between mats. 
  • With effect from 25 March 2020, all members are required to book their classes online. Walk-ins will be rejected during this period of time to maintain the class attendance.
  • Aerial Yoga and Anti Aging Yoga classes have been replaced with Yoga Inversion classes
  • With effect from 1 April 2020, Hot Yoga classes will be replaced with other yoga classes.

Why can't I book classes?

To promote safe practice and social distancing, we have set up 9 mats for each class. To ensure fair and safe yoga practice for all members, each member are offered to attend up to 3 classes a week and a maximum of 1 class a day with effective on 23 March 2020.

If you have already booked and attended 3 classes in the week of 23 March 2020, you will not be able to book classes for the same week.

We seek our members’ understanding during this difficult time and giving other members a chance to practice too.

Why am I not updated with the changes?

Given the updates we are receiving every day, these plans are likely to change anytime. Do check out this page for the latest updates.

Can I freeze my membership due to Covid-19?

Please contact our membership suspension department and they will assist you.

What happens when I do not turn up for a class I booked?

All members are encouraged to practice responsible booking. Second-time offenders will have their booking privilege suspended for a week while repeated offenders will be suspended for 2 weeks.

If you are unable to attend the class, kindly cancel your booking at least 2 hours in advance to allow others to practice.

This is a new situation for all of us and we are trying our best to ensure everyone gets a chance to practice. We hope you can co-operate with us at this crucial time and we will continue serving you our best!
