SUN SALUTATION B
(SURYA NAMASKAR B)
Sun Salutation B has an added asanas onto its sequence. Transiting into Warrior 1 (Virabhadrasana 1) and back to chaturanga lovers or knee-chest-chin on both left and right side takes a whole amount of strength and proper alignment awareness while synchronizing your breathing with the additional Yoga postures before completion.
Common Mistakes
Legs
Forcing your way to get your legs in between your hands might encourage imbalances.
Hips
Hips are on the sides and you’re pressing on your toes (high lunge) when standing up in Warrior 1
Back
Arching in the chair pose as if the ‘chair’ is so far away from you (lol). Don’t stick the butt to far out.
Breathing
Out of breath when transiting into Warrior 1 and chaturanga or knee-chest-chin.
