The Good: Positive words or sentence such as ‘relaxation’, ‘great’ , ‘beautiful’, ‘from your heart’ will have great impact on practitioners’ moods and feelings in the practice
The Bad: Strong, violent, harsh or vulgar words – ‘bad’ , ‘rock and roll’, ‘s*it’, ‘wrinkle on your face’ will usually portray less than desired outcome within your inner emotion in the practice
TONE
The Good: Sentimental, instrumental, soothing ballad songs will set the tone of your practice depending on what classes you are attending.
The Bad: No teachers will used rock music unless it’s a cardio fitness classes. Tone of the music affects your flow. So choose wisely
VOLUME
The Good: Yoga flow classes such as vinyasa can be set on a reasonable high amount of volume provided the teachers instructions overpower the music played
The Bad: Music volume that is too loud will distract your attention and if the teachers voice is too soft.
