Inspirations
A profound source of my yoga inspiration comes from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, often hailed as the Father of Yoga. The aphorism “Abhayasa Vairagyabhyam Tan-Nirodhah” particularly speaks to me. This powerful teaching explains that the fluctuations of the mind can be stilled and controlled through dedicated practice (abhyasa) and the cultivation of detachment or singular focus (vairagya).

Why I Practice
My yoga journey began in 2012, initially as a physical pursuit for weight management and fitness. Over time, I discovered yoga was far more than just poses; it encompassed breathing techniques, meditation, and a profound philosophy. This realization spurred me to study and practice more systematically and intensely. Delving into yoga texts, I uncovered ancient Indian wisdom that has guided my life. Yoga has truly become a lifelong friend, offering invaluable physical and spiritual benefits.

Why I Teach
I’m passionate about helping more people experience the transformative power of yoga, cultivating regular practice for a healthier, happier existence.
